Clive Lotter
Clive fulfils the function and role of Director: Words and Visuals. Clive’s art is telling the story. He is a veteran of 28 years of corporate reporting in all its forms – Sustainability/ESG reports, annual reports, integrated reports and social impact reports, along with business bids, tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Clive is delighted by the fast evolution of reporting into digital, online first and audiovisual formats, which enhances the content you can create for your clients, shareholders, employees and the broader community. A vital part of Clive’s business is staying apace with the bewildering array of frameworks, regulations and standards that organisations are compelled to report against. In line with the initial FFL scan, he advises on your reporting strategy and which frameworks you should adopt to set your organisation off on its authentic sustainability journey. His team then prepares your reports, in accordance with your chosen formats and specific needs.
Clive was unsettled after a two-year stint in the South African military, and spent two decades as an airline steward, trade union officer, political activist and owner/manager of a popular restaurant and bar in Johannesburg. When deciding to sell the restaurant, he was persuaded by customers to become a copywriter in the advertising world. By accident rather than design, Clive migrated into the world of report-writing and
in the early 2000s began penning some of the world’s earliest sustainability and ESG reports.
Clive has personally written over 400 corporate reports of all kinds for businesses around the
world and is regarded by his peers as a pioneer of current integrated and ESG reporting.

Nicola Graham
Nicola is a medical doctor who became fascinated by the interplay between the health of the organisational system and its ability to do its work effectively. Working within the government, non-profit and corporate sectors, it became clear to her that whatever the field of work, the quality of leadership, culture and organisational process determines the effectiveness of individuals, teams and whole organisations. She now focuses on supporting organisations to thrive through transformational organisational development. She trained as a facilitator, is an ICF accredited coach, and her approach draws significantly on emerging brain science and how it can be applied to facilitate working with greater potency, meaning and connection. She has a wanderlust for the African continent, and lives in Cape Town with her husband, two children and two badly behaved dogs.
